Machine embroidery

RUNNING STITCH:

This is the basic stitch applied in machine embroidery. This running stitch is mostly used to stitch the outline of the design and sometimes is used to fill the design also. The length of the stitch is maintained by the movement of the embroidery loops.

CORDING:
Cording is worked with the help of cord. The cord is laid on the design and then very close stitches are taken over the cord. In such a way that the finished work will have the appearance of a cord with a perfectly smooth surface.

SATIN STITCH:
Satin stitch is one of the most useful filling stitch varieties in machine embroidery. This stitch is normally lengthened or shortened according to the design. It can be worked on both heavy and light fabric but with a blackening material on the wrong side to prevent damaging of fabric.
